When I was diagnosed with cancer, I expected the fight ahead. What I didn't expect was how losing my hair would strip away something deeper: my sense of self. Hair is identity. It's culture. It's how we show up in the world.
I suffered through the shame. The discomfort of not recognizing myself. The way my confidence followed my hair down the drain. But somewhere in that darkness, I made a choice: I wasn't going to let this define my story.
I started looking for solutions. Premium wigs. Glueless options. Something that felt like me. Fast, beautiful, and without the burden of salon appointments or the mess of adhesives. And I couldn't find what I needed.
So I built Crown & Texture. Our brand was born from my refusal to accept "good enough" when I deserved to feel like royalty again. And from that same conviction, I created Crown Restore because no woman should face what I faced alone.
