The Crown & Texture guide

Find Your Length

From a shorter cut to flowing lengths, choose the look that fits your routine. Start with the listed inches, then consider texture, shape, and how you want to wear it.

The same inches can look different

Texture, layers, your height, and the way a wig sits on your head all affect its finished appearance.

Straight

Straight styles show their length with less curl shrinkage. Check the cut and layers, which can make the front or sides shorter than the longest strands.

Wavy

Waves add bends and movement, so the hair can fall higher than a straight style with the same listed length. Compare photos of the same texture.

Curly

Curls draw the hair upward and can make it appear shorter. A stretched-length measurement describes the hair extended, rather than its resting curl shape.

Inches to centimeters

Use these examples to compare measurements. They convert the listed inches; they do not predict where a wig will fall on your body.

Listed length Approx. centimeters
10 inches 25.4 cm
12 inches 30.5 cm
14 inches 35.6 cm
16 inches 40.6 cm
18 inches 45.7 cm
20 inches 50.8 cm
22 inches 55.9 cm
24 inches 61.0 cm
26 inches 66.0 cm
28 inches 71.1 cm
30 inches 76.2 cm

Examples are for reference. Available lengths vary by product; use the options on your chosen product page.

Before you choose

  1. Start with your preferred finish. Decide whether you want a shorter shape, an in-between length, or a longer look, and compare styles in that texture.
  2. Check the measurement method. Read the product details. If it is unclear whether the length is measured stretched or in its natural texture, ask us before ordering.
  3. Review the product photos. Consider the cut and layers. Photos may show a different length or density from the option you select.
  4. Confirm your selection. Recheck the length, color, and density before adding the wig to your bag. Length describes the hair; density describes fullness.
